Lovell Miller Brown Papers, 1927-1944.

The collection includes miscellaneous papers, primarily correspondence, 1927-1931, pertaining to Lovell Brown's admission to Norwich University and his subsequent graduation with the class of 1931. There are report cards, 1927-1931, and various receipts. Brown's BA degree and two photographs, one of the 1930 Norwich rifle team and one of Brown taken 18 October 1944, during WWII, are also included.

Lovell Brown was born in Millers Falls, MA. He graduated with the Norwich University class of 1931. While at Norwich, he was a member of the biology club and rifle team. He was an expert pistol marksman and a rifle expert. Lovell Brown was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. During World War II, he served with the 832nd Ordnance Base Depot Company in England, France and Belgium.
